Starting, it should be mentioned the obvious, the grill costs multiple times more than similar ones, so it should be judged accordingly. The build quality is good and sturdy. However, the cooking time is frustratingly slow. I had it on Easter Sunday burning for three hours. Quickly one realizes that only the seventh level works. The chicken skewers took almost half an hour to cook. Luckily we were few and only wanted appetizers. The cooking surface is not uniform in power, it is stronger on the top where the resistance turns. Maybe the lid needs frequent use to enhance the heat a bit. I think it achieves about 1/3 of the charcoal's power. A better choice is the much cheaper Greek sheet metal construction of 3000W that is available.
