The Korg Volca Modular analog modular synthesizer combines eight independent synthesis modules with a 16-step sequencer and 50 patch points for experimenting with signal routing. Following the “West Coast” synthesis approach, it includes modules for an FM oscillator, envelope generator, random signal generator, signal splitter, dual low-pass filter, mixing and scaling, stereo reverb, and sequencing.

The sequencer offers multiple playback modes. For connecting to other equipment, the synth has a headphone output, Sync input and output, and CV input.
