    Honest full tang knife with a 440 stainless steel blade and a wooden handle. Compared to a knife with a carbon steel blade, it is much more resistant to rust (important if it comes into contact with food) but loses its edge more quickly; it's a matter of use and personal preference what someone chooses. I think this particular one is more of a hunting knife than a bushcraft knife, although it will do just fine for batoning if needed due to its construction and the large thickness of the blade.
