The hunting cartridge MEZZO 30 with a half-wad is intended for hunting small game. The purpose of the half-wad is to make the shot more rounded (compared to the plastic wad) and at the same time to open it slightly, but less than a spreader cartridge. They are specially designed to assist the shooter at medium distances of 25-35m, correcting an off-center shot. Light load, very effective at medium distances but also over a wider range when combined with the appropriate chokes.

Due to the low pressures, it can be comfortably used in old or lightweight double-barrel shotguns.
