Fortunately, I tried the small package first: This particular silicone does have some positive aspects, but also quite a few weaknesses. Its most distinctive feature is the presence of hydrolyzed silk, which does make some difference compared to similar products. Although for me it is not the best quality silicone on the market, this particular choice performs quite well in terms of hair hydration.

However, its scent is, for me, a significantly negative aspect. It is certainly subjective, but the smell of the product reminds me of heavy and "rancid" coconut oil, which I personally find quite unpleasant. It is not as strong as it might be in other products, but it is definitely not pleasant to use.

The combination of hydrolyzed silk and coconut oil is excellent, it does not weigh down or stick to the hair. Overall, Biosilk never disappoints, my hair is always silky.
