This work, which is the result of research that lasted over 35 years, presents the manifestations of dyslexia from a different perspective, both in the mother tongue and in the international language of mathematics, the range of common dyslexic behaviors, the underlying causes that provoke them, the variations from one national language to another, as well as the consequences faced by a dyslexic child.
At the same time, sample ways of preventing dyslexia are highlighted, as its universal suppression is a very difficult task, and it is pointed out that it also threatens the so-called "smart" children.
