This work, which is the result of research that spanned over 35 years, presents the manifestations of dyslexia from a different perspective, both in the mother tongue and in the international language of mathematics, the range of common dyslexic behaviors, the main causes that provoke them, their differences from one national language to another, as well as the consequences experienced by a dyslexic child.

At the same time, sample ways to prevent dyslexia are showcased, as its complete suppression is a very difficult task, and it is emphasized that it also threatens the so-called "smart" children.
