The Boston 626016 bench band saw is designed for cutting wood and has a 120 W electric motor with an S2 10 min duty cycle. The speed is adjusted using a potentiometer, while the blade can be installed in two positions for forward or side cutting. The table can be adjusted without tools to an angle between 0° and 45°.

Cutting capacity is 50 mm at 90° and 23 mm at 45°. The blade can be changed without tools, while the base includes a blade storage compartment and an inspection port for replacing the carbon brushes. The air-blast system has an adjustable direction to clear away cutting debris. A 32 mm diameter port is provided for connecting a dust extractor or vacuum cleaner.
