We find ourselves in the midst of the colonels' dictatorship in Greece, on Easter Sunday, April 9, 1972. A couple lies to their relatives to avoid having to go back to the village.
And while they believe they have finally managed to be alone, even for just one day, former lovers, military officers, a platoon of soldiers with skewers and lambs, as well as a love from the past, begin to visit them.
"Farce for Six Characters and Two Actors," the play by Giannis Kalavrianos and Maria Koskiná, is a fast-paced comedy that satirizes the people and situations of one of the darkest periods in modern Greek history, a time as funny as it is dangerous.
