In terms of operation, it is good, nice coffee and many options in the settings. The 2 stars are because after some time the water pump probably broke down and there was no support at all. The machine produced very little coffee, support says send a video and from the video the geniuses say it looks fine... unbelievable... no check, nothing. 1 week of communication just enough to get on your nerves.

I can't say that it makes better coffee than a similar Delonghi that I have used.

However, it is more beautiful, quieter, and better designed:
-- water and waste from the front side
-- easy access to the mechanism for repair/maintenance

Good, it has absolutely nothing to do with a professional one, I say this because I have it as a backup in my shop. But it's ok for home, I would say, and it will cover small hotels. With pre-ground coffee it's already better, with beans not so much. It needs to warm up, if possible, for about 15 minutes for the coffee to come out right. Very decent.

I have been using the Gaggia Brera for three months now. During this time, despite repeated attempts at adjusting the settings, I have not managed to achieve a satisfactory result in coffee preparation.
Specifically, the coffee produced is, in my personal opinion, weak and lacks the desired intensity and body. I tried the machine with the maximum coffee dose (9 gr), with different grind settings, as well as with the minimum amount of water, but there was no substantial improvement in the final result.
Additionally, recently a leak appeared, which led me to contact the representative in order to request a technical inspection of the device. According to the information I received, I was asked to contact the store where the purchase was made and not the representative itself. I sent a relevant letter to arrange the return process to the online store of purchase and I am awaiting their response.

The worst thing I have ever used for espresso. It burns the coffee, no crema at all, waters it down no matter what setting I use, and its grinder, even at the finest setting, leaves the coffee coarsely ground! Lots of cheap plastic that loses and throws coffee outside while grinding, and water loss at the bottom, unacceptable sloppiness for its price. There is also not much control for further experimentation since it is automatic, so generally stay away if you have even a little experience. Shame about the brand name...

But as soon as you put in ready-ground coffee that is like powder, of course you can drink coffee because with the water pressure it seems to work just fine.
It gets dirty with ground coffee inside that escapes from the grinder and it leaks water underneath even if the drip tray is empty.
It certainly makes coffee in a minute from the moment you turn it on, but it only reaches the correct pressure after at least 10-15 minutes and the difference in the coffee and the crema is very noticeable.
For ready-ground coffee only, and even then because of the mess and the plastic feel of the exterior construction, I do not recommend it for its price.

Excellent super-automatic machine. It really makes very good espresso, at the level of a good coffee shop. Compared to Nespresso, there is no taste comparison, the coffee is clearly superior.

The preparation time is about 2 minutes (versus ~30 seconds with Nespresso), but we're talking about a completely different level of coffee, so for me it's absolutely worth it. With a consumption of 2–3 coffees a day, I believe that in 1.5–2 years the machine will have already paid for itself.

Overall, an excellent choice for anyone who wants serious coffee at home without capsules.

I bought it on Black Friday, and within about a week the grinder broke and stopped grinding the coffee! My experience with the machine was very short, but I don't think it's normal for such an expensive machine to break down in such a short period of time!!

The coffee comes out very watery with Illy pods. Does anyone know if this can be fixed with pods from another company? Note: with ground coffee it makes very good coffee.

Very good. It made things much easier for me and kept my pocket full. It makes very nice coffee, both cold and hot. You just need to figure out the right grind and brand of coffee, and once you do, that's it. You'll never want coffee from outside again. I've had it for 6 months, it makes 4-5 coffees a day and 0 problems so far. Easy to clean. Important.

The machine is excellent for its price. It makes very good and high-quality coffee — of course, this also depends on the variety one chooses. In the past, I used the Eureka Mignon Silenzio grinder together with the Delonghi Dedica and I also made excellent coffee, but the process required a lot of effort: cleaning, weighing the coffee, adjustments, etc. With the Brera, all that is a thing of the past. Now I make my coffee in two minutes, without any hassle.

I am on my second kilo of coffee, now I enjoy it more than take away. It splashes a bit more water when it does its cleaning, but I guess that's for the best.

The machine is very good and really worth its money. Those who have an issue with the automatic cleaning that the machine does before and after (water doesn't come out and it throws it into the preparation area on the right and fills the small tray very quickly) should contact EUROGAT in Argyroupoli because there has been a kind of recall - replacement of parts that cause it. It is a manufacturing defect. It is free under warranty and outside of that, the cost is 60 euros + VAT if I'm not mistaken.

Good coffee maker but only for those unfamiliar with coffee preparation. The knowledgeable ones get manual machines, set everything themselves, and have full control over everything. Grind level, coffee pressure in the portafilter, etc. etc.

Coming from an automatic Krups, I found my health with this one. The previous one I had sent for repairs 3 times. With this one, whatever breaks I can change myself, there are spare parts, the good thing is that you can clean it yourself. Once a month I open it from the side door and with a sponge I remove any coffee that has fallen and everything is fine. After a month, maybe little worms will form. I don't want to imagine what the previous one could have had after 2 years of use.

For the home, perhaps the best choice there is. I've had it for a year and it's flawless. It makes very good coffee.

After 1 month of use, I have to say that it is fast, easy, with a very good result.
Setting the grinder to the finest grind and coffee intensity, I am at 2 and my partner at 3, we have settled down!
A gem on the counter, quick to clean with a good result without searching (yet) for any special variety. We use Illy beans and I believe that with a slightly more refined variety the result would be several classes superior.
I have no opinion on the milk frother, as we have a frothing machine.

By far one of the worst choices, the board broke in less than a year and because I have moved abroad the warranty did not cover me and now in less than the second year the machine broke again.
