    From the 12V with a 4A battery, I finally switched to the 18V brushless with a 5A battery. I no longer carry the larger one of 2.6J with a cord (I only have it for digging now) and the battery lasts proportionally longer. Due to price drops, it is no longer worth it for someone to get a smaller one.

If you want something more powerful, go for the 481, which I also have and it's a beast in terms of power. It can turn hands and screw screws effortlessly, but it's quite heavy. That's why I bought this one. It's for special occasions. And don't worry about whether it's made in China or Romania or anywhere else. They all go through the same quality controls and are manufactured with the same specifications.

If you want something more powerful, go for the 481, which I also have and it's a beast in terms of power. It can turn hands and screw screws effortlessly, but it's quite heavy. That's why I bought this one. It's for special occasions. And don't worry about whether it's made in China or Romania or anywhere else. They all go through the same quality controls and are manufactured with the same specifications.

Brushless, which means greater power and longer machine life. Stable switches, convenient to use. Made in Romania with good quality plastic for a firm grip. Two areas that could be improved are the lack of design in the side handle, which is needed due to the power, and the inaccuracy of the LED light. Highly recommended for any use without hesitation.

    From the 12V with a 4A battery, I finally switched to the 18V brushless with a 5A battery. I no longer carry the larger one of 2.6J with a cord (I only have it for digging now) and the battery lasts proportionally longer. Due to price drops, it is no longer worth it for someone to get a smaller one.

    Trigger response and hair trigger for low revs for that pricey product from Makita is absolutely garbage. I expected a lot better, plenty of cheaper brands got better ones. I guess this is some chinese built garbage they sell nowadays.

    The best, it works with 3AH 18V and really kills it, I got it for €120 and now that the price has dropped, with closed eyes, guys. It drills through walls effortlessly, the drill goes into concrete, it hasn't been tested yet.

    I have tried Milwaukee and DeWalt, in my opinion, this one has the best balance and overall weight of the three.
