Simple, minimal, and unadorned. It does exactly what it promises, and easily. Make sure your device has a compatible USB port. Obviously, you will never see your NVMe speeds as there is a bottleneck.

I like it quite a lot as a build, it seems sturdy, however so far it works perfectly with a Kingston A2000 SSD 500GB.

I use it to insert NVME drives for technical work and it has been very convenient, it's easy to put a drive inside so for the average user it's just right.

Second purchase within a year.
Now we obviously have a new version.
In terms of performance, at a quick glance, it is just as good as the old one.
The product code is the same (IB-1817M-C31) and now it is Made in Taiwan (instead of China).
The color is clearly black (instead of Gunmetal).
The only size difference is in the length, 111mm (instead of 103mm).
Opening is now done only with a "switch" at the back (instead of 00 screws).
Finally, in the contents, we have one cable (same thickness) with a C-A adapter on one side and C on the other.
The previous version had two cables, 1*C-A + 1*C-C.
The practical and beautiful velvet pouch is missing. (see photo).

I directly installed an NVME SSD from an old laptop so I could retrieve some pictures and videos that I hadn't backed up. Installation was easy and the PC recognized the drive immediately (without third-party software) and I had access to all the files on the drive (the operating system was installed on it).

I haven't tried it for many hours of data transfer, nor to run a game from it, but as much as I used it, both the temperatures and the speeds were excellent

Very good for its price. Quality, the entire top part is a heatsink and it also includes a thermal pad. Very easy to assemble. Bought for cloning to a larger NVMe and now the old one with the case is used for file transfers.

Speeds up to 1 GB/s on usb 3.2 gen 2 ports as expected. The installation of the drive is not difficult, it takes 2-3 minutes and a small screwdriver, just it's not meant to be changed constantly. Useful for carrying a lot of files with you, faster than a flash drive and more durable than an HDD. It also works with mobile phones as long as they support the drive's format. When you start writing a lot, its cooling is insufficient and the drive's speed drops, but you don't do that every day. Overall very good.

Excellent case, very convenient for m2 drives. The speed is comparable to top m2 external SSDs. One difficulty only with the small screws to close the lid; if it were, for example, some kind of clip instead of screw-on, it would be perfect.

Quality and compact construction. It gives you the feeling that it can withstand being stepped on by a car or a fall from the 2nd floor.

A Kingston KC3000 1TB was installed inside by the customer, for the use of many small files like PDF/Word, for working from home as the laptop does not support 1TB of internal storage.

I did not find any Greek in the user manual, only 5-6 images which do not help if you haven't attempted it before, and you will need to watch videos on YouTube and spend 10-15 minutes testing to figure it out.

A big plus is the USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter/cable that comes with it. At 28 euros when I was searching, it was by far the best case!

It works well while including 2 thermal pads in addition to the heatsink and a screwdriver for easy installation. It comes with a USB-C male to USB-C/A male adapter cable and a carrying case.

Very fast and comes with a USB A that has a conversion to USB C, so it was convenient for me on the computer and TV without any issues. Its main problem is that in the first week of use, it stopped being recognized by the computer and the TV, but it was recognized (partially) by a laptop and did not give me access to my files, but since I am knowledgeable about the subject, I found a solution, so I cannot recommend it to inexperienced users. The NVMe inside is new and functional. The metal lines on top do not help at all with cooling; they are only for appearance, as the cooling of the NVMe is done by thermal pads and a thin metal plate, which are provided with the packaging.

For its price, it is very decent. It is a bit annoying that it requires a screwdriver for adding or removing the disk, but otherwise, once the disk is inserted, it is easy to use and only requires a USB-C. It reaches quite high speeds, especially if the USB-C port on your computer is high-speed, but of course, it does not reach NVMe speeds. No drivers or firmware updates were needed for use with various Samsung disks.

The cable included in the package was damaged (did not make good contact). Sometimes I couldn't write to the disk and had to play with the lock switch to get it to work again (open and disconnect it, then reconnect and close it), and the climax a few days ago (2 months after purchase) it completely stopped working.
Computers see a storage device without a boot record or partition table and when I try to initialize the disk it gives me a fatal hardware error. 2 different SSDs with different capacities from different manufacturers and 3 computers with different operating systems have the same result.
I am extremely disappointed for the 35€ I paid for a metal paperweight. The conclusions are up to you.

Owner of this case for about 10 months. Its use was minimal, especially during the first 2 months, and then sporadic.

After 10 months, it stopped working, which surprises me as I expected much better durability, especially with minimal use.

I am expecting a replacement in case the second case proves to be better.

It's fine. I installed an old Samsung 960 EVO that I had left over and I was reluctant to give it away, so now I have a 500GB external drive that works perfectly. The installation was quite easy, it requires a little work with the small screws, but the packaging includes everything, even thermal pads and a screwdriver! The drive is connected to USB 3.1 Gen2 and achieves sequential 1080/1040 R/W, which is the limit of the connection. In terms of temperatures, during the secure erase process where the drive is completely rewritten and takes some time, it reached a maximum of 48 degrees, which is well below the thermal throttle threshold. The enclosure did get quite warm, which means that the cooling system design is working fine. Very satisfied.

Fantastic build quality, it is made from a single piece of aluminum. I have installed a Samsung 980 1TB for very fast data transfers, depending on the USB it is plugged into. With USB 3.2 Gen2x1 = it has 1GB/s+ data transfer.

It has two small USB-C to USB-C cables and a USB-A to USB-C cable, and a case that fits the SSD and both cables.

It hosts a Crucial P3 NVMe 4TB as an external backup. The packaging includes two strips of thermal paste, one thin and one thicker to ensure good application, regardless of the brand/thickness of the hard drive. The speeds are at reasonable levels. The temperature after prolonged use increases noticeably, but not alarmingly. It also includes both a type-C to type-C cable and a type-C to type-A cable, as well as screws, a screwdriver, and everything else required for an easy and hassle-free installation. Satisfied so far.

Excellent enclosure. Speeds almost as fast as USB 3.1 but consistent. Temperature has never gone up (used 24/7). All-metal chassis, the size of an NVMe, no wasted space (portability).

UPDATE: to definitely achieve maximum speeds, use its own cable. Most Type C to Type C cables from other devices could not reach the maximum speeds

Personally, I had 2 pieces that had issues with the controller where the hard drive did not work on USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports. It worked on USB 3.0/2.0 but with very low speeds.

Excellent case (using Samsung EVO 8, 1Tb). Used as the main disk where Windows run flawlessly and for demanding use, connected to a USB 3 port. Practically minimal difference with the operation of the same disk as an internal one attached to the motherboard.
