Because there are many worse than this kettle, I believe it is worth its money. It is definitely not a fast kettle, but simply a kettle. It takes 5 minutes to boil water. I have simply seen others take 2-2.5 minutes but much more expensive. It caught limescale from the first boiling, so it requires frequent cleaning with vinegar.
