The Cryptid board game by Osprey Publishing is a deduction game for 3–5 players, with the goal of locating a mysterious creature. Each player has one clue and tries to uncover their opponents’ clues while concealing their own information. Revealing clues can help with the search, but may also give an opponent the chance to find the creature first.

The game includes a modular board, five player booklets with clues, and setup cards featuring hundreds of possible combinations across two difficulty levels. It is also supported by an optional digital app that speeds up setup and offers virtually unlimited puzzles.
