The resistance burns out. The first time, after minimal use, the manufacturer told me it was dirty so I cleaned it thoroughly after that. The second one that burned out, they told me it shouldn't get moisture, so I kept it inside the house and wrapped it in an old blanket. The third resistance they sent me (and mind you, all of these cost 50 euros each) broke down inside the house, wrapped as I said and clean. So what is going on!!! I threw it all away as it was. P.S. I had bought the inox, but the resistances are the same.
Καίγεται η αντίσταση . Την πρώτη φορά μετά από ελάχιστη χρήση μου είπε το εργοστάσιο ότι ήταν ακαθάριστη οπότε την καθάριζα ανελλιπώς μετά. Η δεύτερη που κάηκε μου είπαν δεν θέλει υγρασία, οπότε την έβαζα πλέον μέσα στο σπίτι και την τύλιξα με παλιά κουβέρτα Η τρίτη αντίσταση που μου έστειλαν ,(και όλα αυτά υπόψιν είναι 50αρικα) χάλασε εντός του σπιτιού τυλιγμένη όπως είπα και καθαρή. Ε τι θα γίνει δηλαδή !!! Την πέταξα όπως ήταν όλη μαζί. Υ.Σ είχα πάρει την ινοξ οι αντιστάσεις ίδιες είναι όμως.
It's almost been 4 years, it has done a lot of grilling, mainly on weekends of course. The grilling it does is very good considering it's electric, and it's quite consistent. I must be very lucky because the heating element hasn't broken yet, and the funny thing is that I don't take care of it, it doesn't rain often in Attica but most of the times it has rained, it has gotten wet. Nevertheless, it hasn't malfunctioned so far. And that alone is enough.
Furthermore, it doesn't seem to be affected by the fats that fall on the heating element, nor by the lemons I squeeze while grilling. I have no doubt that the heating element easily burns for many people, but mine is still going. And even if it breaks tomorrow, I won't be too upset considering how I have treated it, it has paid off (I bought it from a well-known supermarket chain with a 20% discount, around €54 if I remember correctly, nothing like the almost €100 it costs now).
The build quality is indeed almost poor, and you can't call it cheap, but it compensates with the grilling it does and the ease of use. A friend who is into charcoal and gas grills was impressed when they tried it. And for beginners, it is very good compared to charcoal because it grills evenly and it's not overly powerful to burn your food, like what happens with "experienced" charcoal grillers who can't handle the fire and end up burning the outside and leaving the inside raw (it has happened so many times).
It's not for difficult meat cuts (lamb, etc.), but for simple things (kebabs, steaks), it is fantastic.

The resistance breaks, they don't replace it while it bakes perfectly but you can't do it after it throws the relay. Unfortunately, it's not the humidity's fault but the poor quality of the resistance that can't withstand it! If they change the way a little and put the resistance on top, maybe it will last longer or they can put a better resistant resistance for such cases. Everyone complains about the resistance so let them change a little of the "miracle".
Χαλάει η αντίσταση, δεν κάνουν αντικατάσταση ενώ ψήνει τελεία αλλά τ να το κάνεις αφού ρίχνει το ρελε.
δυστυχώς δεν φταίει η υγρασία αλλά η κακή ποιότητα της αντίστασης που δεν αντέχει! Εάν αλλάξουν λίγο τον τρόπο και βάλουν από πάνω την αντίσταση ισως να κρατάει πιο πολύ η ας βάλουν μια πιο καλή ανθεκτική αντίσταση για τέτοιες περιπτώσεις.
Όλοι κάνουν παράπονα για την αντίσταση οπότε ας αλλάξουν λίγο του '' θαυμα''.
While it cooks wonderfully, it is a terrible electric appliance. It constantly trips the main circuit of the house and once it burned without the switch being turned on. Thankfully, we didn't have a fire. The grill has a serious problem with the heating element. I have changed the grill three times and the heating element once, and the problem is still not fixed. For your safety, do not make this choice.
Ενώ ψήνει υπέροχα, είναι μια αισχρή ηλεκτρική συσκευή. Ρίχνει συνέχεια τον γενικό του σπιτιού και μια φορά έκαιγε χωρίς να είναι αναμμένος ο διακόπτης. Ευτυχώς δεν πήραμε φωτιά. Η ψησταριά έχει σοβαρό πρόβλημα με την αντίσταση. Έχω αλλάξει 3 φορές ψησταριά και μια φορά αντίσταση και δεν φτιάχνει το πρόβλημα. Για την ασφάλεια σας,μην κάνετε αυτή την επιλογή.
As a user of this specific grill for almost 4 years, I will say the following:
1) Positives:
- It grills quickly and almost the same as charcoal.
- Easy to clean.
- The best electric grill.
2) Negatives:
- The price is a rip-off in your face.
- Poor construction that is not worth 70 € at all.
- They give a 2-year warranty, but when the resistor breaks, they fool you into thinking it's because of the humidity (because they never take responsibility) and you have to pay for a new one (25€).
- Everything is blamed on humidity (the warranty probably only covers the paint and the metal of the frame).
- Be very careful when grilling because the resistor can easily break or puncture (burners, etc.).
- Frequency of replacing the resistor is from 1 to 3 years depending on the grilling volume (25-75€).
Conclusion... if you grill too much, DO NOT buy it because you will end up regretting not getting a good gas grill. If you grill occasionally, it might be beneficial for the quality of grilling.
Ως χρήστης σχεδόν 4 ετών της συγκεκριμένης ψησταριάς θα πω τα εξής:
1) Θετικά:
-Ψήνει γρήγορα και σχεδόν το ίδιο με το κάρβουνο.
- Ευκολία στο καθάρισμα.
- Ότι καλύτερο σε ηλεκτρική ψησταριά.
2) Αρνητικά:
-Η τιμή της είναι κλέψιμο μέσα στην μούρη σου.
-Ψευτοκατασκευη που δεν αξίζει 70 € με τίποτα.
-Δίνουν 2 χρόνια εγγύηση και όταν χαλάσει η αντίσταση σε κοροϊδεύουν μέσα στην μούρη σου ότι φταίει η υγρασία ( γιατί αυτοί δεν φταίνε ποτε ) και πληρώνεις για καινούργια(25€).
-Για τα πάντα φταίει η υγρασία (εγγύηση μάλλον δίνεται στο βάψιμο και στα μέταλλα του σκελετού).
-Πολύ προσοχή στο ψήσιμο γιατί μπορεί εύκολα να χαλάσει-τρυπήσει η αντίσταση ( πιρούνες κτλ ).
-Συχνότητα αντικατάστασης αντίστασης από 1 έως 3 τον χρόνο ανάλογα τον όγκο ψησίματος (25-75€).
Συμπέρασμα...αν ψήνεται παρά πολύ ΜΗΝ την πάρετε γιατί θα καταλήξετε να μετανιώσετε που δεν πήρατε μια καλή υγραερίου. Αν ψήνεται αραιά και που ίσως σας συμφέρει για την ποιότητα ψησίματος της.
Very good and very fast with aluminum foil on the bottom of the pan you clean for fun. It is good not to leave the resistance outside because it gets damp and burns. You bake, clean, and you are ready as soon as it cools down, you put it somewhere inside!
Πολύ καλή και πολύ γρήγορη με ένα αλουμινόχαρτο στο ταψί από κάτω καθαρίζετε για πλάκα . Καλό είναι να μην την αφήνεις έξω την αντίσταση γιατί παίρνει υγρασία και καίγεται . Ψήνεις καθαρίζεις και είσαι έτοιμος μόλις κρυώσει την βάζεις κάπου εσωτερικά !
Sure success in grilling, it doesn't get dirty like charcoal, it just needs attention and precision in cooking time with a clock.. 6 to 7 minutes on each side and maybe another minute afterwards.. If you delay it, the meat dies, it doesn't taste good. Easy cleaning but time-consuming, with charcoal you might have done a little more.. For a family and balcony, it's a perfect choice
Σίγουρη επιτυχία στα ψητά, δε λερώνει όπως τα κάρβουνα απλά θέλει προσοχή και ακρίβεια στο χρόνο ψησίματος με ρολόι.. 6 έως 7 λεπτά από τις 2 πλευρές και ίσως μετά κάνα λεπτό πάλι.. Αν το καθυστέρησεις πεθαίνει το κρέας δε τρωγετσι. Εύκολο καθάρισμα αλλά χρονοβόρο, με κάρβουνα ίσως έκανες λίγο παραπάνω.. Για μια οικογένεια και μπαλκόνι ή τέλεια επιλογή

Και να χαλάσει αύριο δε θα στενοχωρηθώ και πολύ έτσι που της έχω φερθεί, τα έχει βγάλει τα λεφτά της (την είχα πάρει από γνωστή αλυσίδα σουπερμάρκετ με -20% γύρω στα 54€ αν θυμάμαι καλά, καμιά σχέση με τα σχεδόν 100€ που κοστίζει τώρα).
Η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι όντως σχεδόν κακή, και δεν τη λες και φθηνή, αλλά αποζημιώνει με το ψήσιμο που κάνει και την ευκολία χρήσης.
Φίλος που είναι του κάρβουνου και υγραερίου όταν έφαγε από το Θαύμα εντυπωσιάστηκε.
Και για αρχάριους είναι πολύ καλή σε σχέση με το κάρβουνο γιατί ψήνει ομοιόμορφα και δεν είναι υπερβολικά δυνατή για να στα κάψει, όπως συμβαίνει με "έμπειρους" ψήστες στο κάρβουνο που δε μπορούν να διαχειριστούν τη φωτιά και τα καίνε απ' έξω και μέσα είναι ωμά (έχει συμβεί τόσες μα τόσες φορές).
Δεν είναι για δύσκολα κομμάτια κρέατος (πρόβατο κ.λπ.), αλλά για απλά πράγματα (σουβλάκια, μπριζόλες) είναι φοβερή.

The resistance breaks, they don't replace it while it bakes perfectly but you can't do it after it throws the relay. Unfortunately, it's not the humidity's fault but the poor quality of the resistance that can't withstand it! If they change the way a little and put the resistance on top, maybe it will last longer or they can put a better resistant resistance for such cases. Everyone complains about the resistance so let them change a little of the "miracle".
Χαλάει η αντίσταση, δεν κάνουν αντικατάσταση ενώ ψήνει τελεία αλλά τ να το κάνεις αφού ρίχνει το ρελε.
δυστυχώς δεν φταίει η υγρασία αλλά η κακή ποιότητα της αντίστασης που δεν αντέχει! Εάν αλλάξουν λίγο τον τρόπο και βάλουν από πάνω την αντίσταση ισως να κρατάει πιο πολύ η ας βάλουν μια πιο καλή ανθεκτική αντίσταση για τέτοιες περιπτώσεις.
Όλοι κάνουν παράπονα για την αντίσταση οπότε ας αλλάξουν λίγο του '' θαυμα''.
While it cooks wonderfully, it is a terrible electric appliance. It constantly trips the main circuit of the house and once it burned without the switch being turned on. Thankfully, we didn't have a fire. The grill has a serious problem with the heating element. I have changed the grill three times and the heating element once, and the problem is still not fixed. For your safety, do not make this choice.
Ενώ ψήνει υπέροχα, είναι μια αισχρή ηλεκτρική συσκευή. Ρίχνει συνέχεια τον γενικό του σπιτιού και μια φορά έκαιγε χωρίς να είναι αναμμένος ο διακόπτης. Ευτυχώς δεν πήραμε φωτιά. Η ψησταριά έχει σοβαρό πρόβλημα με την αντίσταση. Έχω αλλάξει 3 φορές ψησταριά και μια φορά αντίσταση και δεν φτιάχνει το πρόβλημα. Για την ασφάλεια σας,μην κάνετε αυτή την επιλογή.
As a user of this specific grill for almost 4 years, I will say the following:
1) Positives:
- It grills quickly and almost the same as charcoal.
- Easy to clean.
- The best electric grill.
2) Negatives:
- The price is a rip-off in your face.
- Poor construction that is not worth 70 € at all.
- They give a 2-year warranty, but when the resistor breaks, they fool you into thinking it's because of the humidity (because they never take responsibility) and you have to pay for a new one (25€).
- Everything is blamed on humidity (the warranty probably only covers the paint and the metal of the frame).
- Be very careful when grilling because the resistor can easily break or puncture (burners, etc.).
- Frequency of replacing the resistor is from 1 to 3 years depending on the grilling volume (25-75€).
Conclusion... if you grill too much, DO NOT buy it because you will end up regretting not getting a good gas grill. If you grill occasionally, it might be beneficial for the quality of grilling.
Ως χρήστης σχεδόν 4 ετών της συγκεκριμένης ψησταριάς θα πω τα εξής:
1) Θετικά:
-Ψήνει γρήγορα και σχεδόν το ίδιο με το κάρβουνο.
- Ευκολία στο καθάρισμα.
- Ότι καλύτερο σε ηλεκτρική ψησταριά.
2) Αρνητικά:
-Η τιμή της είναι κλέψιμο μέσα στην μούρη σου.
-Ψευτοκατασκευη που δεν αξίζει 70 € με τίποτα.
-Δίνουν 2 χρόνια εγγύηση και όταν χαλάσει η αντίσταση σε κοροϊδεύουν μέσα στην μούρη σου ότι φταίει η υγρασία ( γιατί αυτοί δεν φταίνε ποτε ) και πληρώνεις για καινούργια(25€).
-Για τα πάντα φταίει η υγρασία (εγγύηση μάλλον δίνεται στο βάψιμο και στα μέταλλα του σκελετού).
-Πολύ προσοχή στο ψήσιμο γιατί μπορεί εύκολα να χαλάσει-τρυπήσει η αντίσταση ( πιρούνες κτλ ).
-Συχνότητα αντικατάστασης αντίστασης από 1 έως 3 τον χρόνο ανάλογα τον όγκο ψησίματος (25-75€).
Συμπέρασμα...αν ψήνεται παρά πολύ ΜΗΝ την πάρετε γιατί θα καταλήξετε να μετανιώσετε που δεν πήρατε μια καλή υγραερίου. Αν ψήνεται αραιά και που ίσως σας συμφέρει για την ποιότητα ψησίματος της.
Very good and very fast with aluminum foil on the bottom of the pan you clean for fun. It is good not to leave the resistance outside because it gets damp and burns. You bake, clean, and you are ready as soon as it cools down, you put it somewhere inside!
Πολύ καλή και πολύ γρήγορη με ένα αλουμινόχαρτο στο ταψί από κάτω καθαρίζετε για πλάκα . Καλό είναι να μην την αφήνεις έξω την αντίσταση γιατί παίρνει υγρασία και καίγεται . Ψήνεις καθαρίζεις και είσαι έτοιμος μόλις κρυώσει την βάζεις κάπου εσωτερικά !
Sure success in grilling, it doesn't get dirty like charcoal, it just needs attention and precision in cooking time with a clock.. 6 to 7 minutes on each side and maybe another minute afterwards.. If you delay it, the meat dies, it doesn't taste good. Easy cleaning but time-consuming, with charcoal you might have done a little more.. For a family and balcony, it's a perfect choice
Σίγουρη επιτυχία στα ψητά, δε λερώνει όπως τα κάρβουνα απλά θέλει προσοχή και ακρίβεια στο χρόνο ψησίματος με ρολόι.. 6 έως 7 λεπτά από τις 2 πλευρές και ίσως μετά κάνα λεπτό πάλι.. Αν το καθυστέρησεις πεθαίνει το κρέας δε τρωγετσι. Εύκολο καθάρισμα αλλά χρονοβόρο, με κάρβουνα ίσως έκανες λίγο παραπάνω.. Για μια οικογένεια και μπαλκόνι ή τέλεια επιλογή

The resistance burns out. The first time, after minimal use, the manufacturer told me it was dirty so I cleaned it thoroughly after that. The second one that burned out, they told me it shouldn't get moisture, so I kept it inside the house and wrapped it in an old blanket. The third resistance they sent me (and mind you, all of these cost 50 euros each) broke down inside the house, wrapped as I said and clean. So what is going on!!! I threw it all away as it was. P.S. I had bought the inox, but the resistances are the same.
Καίγεται η αντίσταση . Την πρώτη φορά μετά από ελάχιστη χρήση μου είπε το εργοστάσιο ότι ήταν ακαθάριστη οπότε την καθάριζα ανελλιπώς μετά. Η δεύτερη που κάηκε μου είπαν δεν θέλει υγρασία, οπότε την έβαζα πλέον μέσα στο σπίτι και την τύλιξα με παλιά κουβέρτα Η τρίτη αντίσταση που μου έστειλαν ,(και όλα αυτά υπόψιν είναι 50αρικα) χάλασε εντός του σπιτιού τυλιγμένη όπως είπα και καθαρή. Ε τι θα γίνει δηλαδή !!! Την πέταξα όπως ήταν όλη μαζί. Υ.Σ είχα πάρει την ινοξ οι αντιστάσεις ίδιες είναι όμως.
It's almost been 4 years, it has done a lot of grilling, mainly on weekends of course. The grilling it does is very good considering it's electric, and it's quite consistent. I must be very lucky because the heating element hasn't broken yet, and the funny thing is that I don't take care of it, it doesn't rain often in Attica but most of the times it has rained, it has gotten wet. Nevertheless, it hasn't malfunctioned so far. And that alone is enough.
Furthermore, it doesn't seem to be affected by the fats that fall on the heating element, nor by the lemons I squeeze while grilling. I have no doubt that the heating element easily burns for many people, but mine is still going. And even if it breaks tomorrow, I won't be too upset considering how I have treated it, it has paid off (I bought it from a well-known supermarket chain with a 20% discount, around €54 if I remember correctly, nothing like the almost €100 it costs now).
The build quality is indeed almost poor, and you can't call it cheap, but it compensates with the grilling it does and the ease of use. A friend who is into charcoal and gas grills was impressed when they tried it. And for beginners, it is very good compared to charcoal because it grills evenly and it's not overly powerful to burn your food, like what happens with "experienced" charcoal grillers who can't handle the fire and end up burning the outside and leaving the inside raw (it has happened so many times).
It's not for difficult meat cuts (lamb, etc.), but for simple things (kebabs, steaks), it is fantastic.
Κοντεύει να κλείσει 4 χρόνια, έχει κάνει πολλά ψησίματα, κυρίως Σαββατοκύριακα βέβαια.
Το ψήσιμο που κάνει είναι πολύ καλό δεδομένου ότι είναι ηλεκτρική, και είναι αρκετά ομοιόμορφο.
Πρέπει να είμαι πολύ τυχερός γιατί ακόμα δεν έχει χαλάσει η αντίσταση, και η πλάκα είναι ότι δεν την προσέχω, στην Αττική δε βρέχει συχνά αλλά τις περισσότερες φορές που έχει βρέξει έχει γίνει μούσκεμα. Παρόλα αυτά δεν έχει κάνει κιχ μέχρι τώρα. Και μόνο αυτό φτάνει.
Από εκεί και πέρα, ούτε από τα λίπη που πέφτουν πάνω στην αντίσταση δείχνει να έχει επηρεαστεί, ούτε απ' τα λεμόνια που στίβω ενώ ψήνω.
Δεν αμφιβάλλω ότι σε πολλούς καίγεται εύκολα η αντίσταση, πάντως η δική μου ακόμα πάει.
