We bought it because of the name, the price, and the ability for fast measurement. We were disappointed!! The worst thermometer I have ever bought!!
You don't even have time to put it on and it gives you a measurement of 35.5, 35.3. We put another one and it gives you the correct measurement, 36.5, 36.6. Maybe it only gives you the correct measurement if you have a high fever, what can I say.
The measurements were taken with a conventional mercury thermometer and a digital one.
I do not recommend it and I believe it is a problematic, useless product. Look for something else.

Δεν προλαβαίνεις να το βάλεις και σου δίνει μέτρηση 35.5, 35.3. Βάζουμε άλλο και σου δίνει τη σωστή, 36.5, 36.6 Ίσως να σου δίνει σωστή μέτρηση μόνο αν έχεις υψηλό πυρετό, τι να πώ.
Οι μετρήσεις έγιναν με συμβατικό θερμόμετρο υδραργύρου και με ψηφιακό.

We bought it because of the name, the price, and the ability for fast measurement. We were disappointed!! The worst thermometer I have ever bought!!
You don't even have time to put it on and it gives you a measurement of 35.5, 35.3. We put another one and it gives you the correct measurement, 36.5, 36.6. Maybe it only gives you the correct measurement if you have a high fever, what can I say.
The measurements were taken with a conventional mercury thermometer and a digital one.
I do not recommend it and I believe it is a problematic, useless product. Look for something else.

Δεν προλαβαίνεις να το βάλεις και σου δίνει μέτρηση 35.5, 35.3. Βάζουμε άλλο και σου δίνει τη σωστή, 36.5, 36.6 Ίσως να σου δίνει σωστή μέτρηση μόνο αν έχεις υψηλό πυρετό, τι να πώ.
Οι μετρήσεις έγιναν με συμβατικό θερμόμετρο υδραργύρου και με ψηφιακό.
Δεν το συνιστώ και πιστεύω είναι ένα προβληματικό,άχρηστο προϊόν. Κοιτάξτε για κάτι άλλο.
From the beginning, it showed me 35.3 degrees to 35.5 in the 10 seconds it stopped measuring. No matter who used it, it showed up to 35.5 degrees. I asked for it to be replaced and indeed the replacement was made. The same exact thing happened with the second one. I have to wear it for 10 minutes so that the tip can reach the body temperature.
Από την αρχή μου έδειχνε 35,3 βαθμούς έως 35,5 στα 10 δευτερόλεπτα που σταματούσε την μέτρηση. Όποιος και να το έβαζε έδειχνε μέχρι 35.5 βαθμούς. Ζήτησα να μου το αλλάξουν και όντως έγινε η αντικατάσταση. Το ίδιο ακριβώς και το δεύτερο. Πρέπει να το φοράω 10 λ ώστε να προλάβει η άκρη του να πιάσει την θερμοκρασία του σώματος.
It is indeed fast. Its measurements, on the other hand, vary among themselves in consecutive continuous measurements, with a deviation of up to 0.4 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, it gives you a good indication of your temperature.
Είναι όντως γρήγορο. Οι μετρήσεις του από την άλλη έχουν διακύμανση μεταξύ τους, σε διαδοχικές συνεχόμενες μετρήσεις, με απόκλιση εώς και 0.4 βαθμούς κελσίου. Παρόλα αυτά, το σου δίνει μια καλή ένδειξη της θερμοκρασίας σου.
Simple digital thermometer. To have accurate readings, read the instructions for how long to leave it before checking the reading. It beeps as a notification when the measurement is complete. But be careful regarding its use in the mouth. If the temperature measurement is taken in the armpit, ignore the sound notification because it requires more time, as mentioned in the instructions... the readings are always accurate compared to a classic thermometer (mercury).
Απλό ψηφιακό θερμόμετρο. Για να εχει σωστές ενδείξεις διαβάστε τις οδηγίες για το χρόνο που το αφήνετε πριν δείτε την ένδειξη. Χτυπάει ως ειδοποίηση οταν γινει η μέτρηση. Αλλά προσοχή αφορά τη χρήση ως προς το στόμα. Αν η μέτρηση θερμοκρασίας γίνει στη μασχάλη αγνοήστε την ηχητική ειδοποίηση γιατί θέλει περισσότερο χρόνο και στις οδηγίες αναφέρεται... οι ενδείξεις είναι σωστές πάντα σε σύγκριση με κλασσικό θερμόμετρο 《υδραργύρου》.

Καταρχάς οι σωστές μετρήσεις βάσει του φυλλαδίου οδηγιών γίνονται αν το βάλουμε ΚΑΤΩ ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΓΛΩΣΣΑ και ΟΧΙ κάτω από την μασχάλη. ΕΠΙΣΗΣ πρώτο βάζουμε το θερμόμετρο ΚΑΙ ΜΕΤΑ πατάμε να ανοίξει διότι μετράει γρήγορα. ΔΟΚΙΜΑΣΤΕ κάτω από την γλώσσα. ΕΙΜΑΙ ΠΟΛΥ ευχαριστημένη.
The comment concerns axillary temperature measurements in adult men.
The supposed competitive advantage of the product is the reliable 10-second temperature measurement. Great emphasis is given to this feature in its presentation on the official Microlife website. If we judge it based on this specific characteristic (which the company insists on), we are dealing with an unreliable diagnostic tool, as most consumers state in their comments. The average result of the dozens of repeated measurements I have taken is around 35 °C.
If we overlook this marketing trick of the company, which is the main reason why most of us purchased this device, and read the instructions for use, we will learn the reality. The 10-second time applies to oral and rectal methods and is not indicated for axillary measurements.
If you leave the thermometer for 4-5 minutes in the armpit area (and ignore the audible completion notification of the 10-second measurement), it will show the correct temperature with an average deviation of ±0.2 °C compared to the previous measurement.*

- I hope that the working conditions at Microlife and Karabinis Medical are as expected.
- I repeat that I have not evaluated the product based on the oral or rectal method, but on the axillary method.
- When a manufacturer seems to be trying to deceive us, it would be good to choose another similar product as a strategic move to defend the interests of consumers.
- *According to the instructions for use, to achieve comparable results, we should allow a one-minute interval between measurements.

Το ανταγωνιστικό πλεονέκτημα του προϊόντος υποτίθεται πως είναι η αξιόπιστη θερμομέτρηση στο χρόνο των 10''. Εάν το κρίνουμε λοιπόν με βάση το συγκεκριμένο (στο οποίο κ επιμένει τόσο η εταιρεία), έχουμε να κάνουμε με ένα αναξιόπιστο διαγνωστικό εργαλείο, όπως γράφουν κ οι περισσότεροι καταναλωτές στα σχόλια. Το μέσο αποτέλεσμα των δεκάδων επαναλαμβανόμενων μετρήσεων που έχω κάνει κυμαίνεται γύρω στους 35 °C.
Αν παραβλέψουμε το μαρκετίστικο αυτό τέχνασμα της εταιρείας που είναι & ο κύριος λόγος που οι περισσότεροι αγοράσαμε τη συγκεκριμένη συσκευή & διαβάσουμε τις οδηγίες χρήσης θα μάθουμε την πραγματικότητα. Ο χρόνος των 10" αφορά τη στοματική & την πρωκτική μέθοδο και δεν αναγράφεται στις μασχαλιαίες μετρήσεις.
Αν αφήσετε το θερμόμετρο για 4'-5' στη περιοχή της μασχάλης (& απορρίψεται την ηχητική ειδοποίηση ολοκλήρωσης της μέτρησης των 10") θα δείξει τη σωστή θερμοκρασία με Μ.Ο. απόκλισης -+0,2 °C σε σχέση με την προηγούμενη μέτρηση. *
