Description & Specifications

The Cyprus problem constitutes the disgrace of so-called civilized humanity of the 20th century.

After World War II, Cyprus is the only country where the "wall of shame" is provocatively and stubbornly maintained in the center of its capital, Nicosia. Everyone is willfully blind to the great crime that shames modern societies, where both the United Nations and the United States of America use a double standard. Interests have overridden both logic and prudence, as well as the spirit of justice, which should permeate the United Nations.

While in the case of Cyprus, the United Nations showed complete indifference to the implementation of the resolutions it itself voted - from the infamous first resolution 3212 of the Security Council, immediately after the Turkish invasion of the island in 1974, to the latest 939, all condemning Turkey and yet stubbornly and strangely none have been decided to be implemented - in the case of Kuwait (due to interests obviously), they immediately implemented the Security Council decision.

This book deals with the political positions of high-ranking political figures from Greece, Cyprus, and international political life, through interviews with the author, proposing their own views for the resolution of the Cyprus issue. From the present book parade political personalities who shaped the political course of the Cyprus issue, before we reached today's tragic situation.
