It also delivers optimal output voltage and sound quality for use with conventional vinyl. This optimized output voltage of 10 mV maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio of the audio sent to the software, resulting in better interpretation of the timecode signal. Additionally, reducing the reproduction of frequencies where wear and noise occur on vinyl helps decrease errors in interpreting the timecode signal, thus contributing to the longer lifespan of timecoded vinyl records.
