In the event of a power outage, it powers connected devices from the battery for 10–30 minutes, depending on the load. It automatically restarts after a prolonged outage without human intervention.

It includes an EMI/RFI filter for continuous interference suppression and LED status indicators. Battery operation does not support devices with a load below 30 VA.
