ATEN technology enables the transmission of audiovisual signals over a single Cat 5e cable, while a second Cat 5e cable is required to use the actual EDID.

It supports a wide range of video formats and resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 at 40 m, 1080p at 40 m and 1080i at 60 m. EQ compensation can be adjusted for the video signal, while the device is HDCP-compliant and rack-mountable.
