The 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 4251 is a simple and ready-to-use respiratory protection mask with integrated filters. The two large, integrated carbon filters provide low breathing resistance, and the embossed silicone-free sealing ring is soft and hypoallergenic, offering a perfect fit to the face. It includes a resealable bag for hygienic storage and transport.

  • Centrally positioned exhalation valve, which helps reduce heat and moisture buildup in hot and humid conditions

    Although the material of silicone or latex seemed like it would be comfortable on the face, it is actually very uncomfortable. I do not have a perfectly straight nose. If I support it at the beginning of the nose, near the eyes, then it greatly hinders the eyes and causes unbearable pressure, while if I support it towards the lower end of the nose, it simply slips. It does not fit well on all faces and it hurts.

    Also, washing is an issue since the filters do not change. So if you wash it, you have to wait hours for it to dry. However, in between dusty work, it will require many washes, so it is the wrong choice for work that will produce a lot of dust.
