I have been using epilators for years! This particular model is definitely not worth its money!! It takes a long time to catch the hairs and moreover, it does not have a plastic protector on the head, resulting in having to stop the process every so often to avoid burns, especially in sensitive areas!

I have to say that it removes hair VERY well. It is the MOST BASIC version of epilators, one head, two speeds, and that's it. You have the option to buy the other heads (shaver, small head for epilation, etc.) separately if you want later on.
As for the epilation, I have very thin and soft hair on my legs due to previous laser hair removal, which cannot be pulled out AT ALL with tweezers, but this device pulls them out easily! In ten minutes I had done my legs and in another ten my arms.
Now, regarding the device's durability, I can't know yet, but it's Philips and that gives you hope that it will be better constructed than some no-name brands. I hope it reaches the 10+ years of my Braun Silk Epil.

Very good and efficient machine. It doesn't break easily, I've had mine for at least two years and it still lasts.

I regret buying it. It does not remove hair effectively, the pain is not that intense, but additionally it does not have the helpful little light. The device is not worth its money.

I have had it for 5 years and now it has started having issues with the cable, nevertheless it works. It doesn't hurt much and you definitely get used to it over time. If the hairs are very long it hurts more. It also pulls out the small ones

After years of struggling with wax, I finally finish both legs in 20 minutes, without making a mess with wax and without burning myself! No more waiting for the wax to reach the right temperature. The pain is much less compared to waxing. The duration is more or less the same. The only thing I am waiting to see is the lifespan of the machine.

I had the machine for about 1 year (and a little more) and during the time it lasted I was very satisfied with its performance, but after continuous use for a year, the plastic gear on the left side of the head managed to dig into the plastic, resulting in the gear not being in its proper position, and the entire epilator head moving further back than it should, causing it to hit and dig into the plastic at the back of the machine. This made the machine unusable, as it became 10x noisier and small plastic pieces were flying everywhere. Good performance, but unfortunately for me personally it broke down quickly.

In general, I am satisfied with the epilator regarding the results. It is the first one I have bought so I have no basis for comparison, but it hurts me a lot. I have also tried my mother's epilator, which is a different brand, and it hurt much less, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I have been using it for 3 months now. It works well but it seems like a very fragile construction. However, for its price, it's just fine!

I've been using an epilator for two years. Before this one, I had one from a company I don't even remember, but its result was perfect. I've been using this specific one for about 6 months. While in the first epilations everything was fine, the hair was indeed pulled from the root and it took almost a week for the next epilation, now I have to epilate every other day as if it shaves them. I really don't know what's wrong because I clean it properly after each use. I definitely won't choose the same company's product again.

The worst choice I have ever made.... this thing is anything but what it advertises.....

This is the third machine I have bought since I started using a hair removal machine 14 years ago. I had a Braun for €200, then a Philips for €80, and now I bought this one. So far it works well, only the skin doesn't stay smooth and needs moisturizer afterward. The previous two broke at the charging cable because after a while they lost contact with the power. This one was purchased in February 2025 and so far it works fine. For anyone who has been using a machine for years, it doesn't hurt at all. The result, if you have done a scrub, lasts 1 week to 10 days depending on the area.

Great result and use. It doesn't make much noise and has an ergonomic grip. Minus one star because it doesn't work at all without power

It's fine, it obviously does its job but it hurts a lot, like really a lot. I managed to do it twice and then I gave up... it's a shame because the result lasts a long time

it does the job. it's up to you to exfolate and hydrate your skin to avoid bumps and ingrown hair after use. if used correctly its just what it promises

It's better for the hairs to be relatively short and not too long; it hurts less. After hair removal, cold water and cream help with redness. The downside is that it starts to make the hairs soft, and some turn back

It takes several passes to catch the majority of the hairs and some break, but it does its job in general if you don't want to mess with wax. The pain is there but it's bearable if you don't have thick hair growth.

Don't even bother. Firstly, I have never felt such indescribable pain. Secondly, it doesn't even remove small or large hairs. I could say that it takes many passes to work properly, but it doesn't remove hair at all.

What have I been doing all these decades? If you can overcome the shock of the first epilation, you will never go back to using a razor! Smooth legs for 3 weeks guaranteed!

It is a cheap epilator. I have had it for 4 years. The first 3 years it did its job perfectly, it removed hair without cutting it, so the result lasted for about 2.5-3 weeks. Very long cord, reaches all areas. Includes a cleaning brush and the head is removable.

After 3 years of continuous use, it has started to cut the hair and I notice that after 5 days it grows back. However, for its price, it is worth it. I recommend it to any girl looking for something economical.

I really liked it! Overall, it's an epilator, very simple and very honest for its money. The process hurts A LOT but it's understandable, I think it will have a long duration anyway because the hair removal is thorough.

It did not do a good job at all. It pulls half of the hairs, twists them, and gets hot within the first 2 minutes. To remove them properly, I have to sit for half an hour. I have filled wounds that do not heal at all. I will not prefer it again

I received the hair removal today and used it! Very fast hair removal. I give it a 9/10 for removal. I have fair skin, my hair is not coarse, a few (1-3) did not come off, which you can insist on and remove. Within less than 10 minutes. I was watching TV. I didn't even realize how time passed! The best! It's worth the money. Minimal pain, slight irritation, just like waxing. I imagine it's temporary!! Very satisfied! I recommend it!!!!

I am very satisfied with the result! Easy to use, it pulls the hair from the root, very few hairs are cut. It has not caused any significant irritation, just a few redness on the hands that go away after a while as expected. For me it is painless, I recommend it, it is VFM and at a low cost.

Unfortunately, it didn't do the job I wanted it to. Yes, it's affordable, but every time I gave it a chance, it would cut the hairs. Unfortunately, it was a wasted purchase for me. I expected it to at least do the obvious.

The pain and irritation are understandable, especially the first time! Personally, the result of the first hair removal definitely lasted for a week, with a few hairs appearing very weak...
In the following times, besides the fact that there is no pain anymore, the result lasts for a month!

Okay, it's just okay for the money. I wouldn't buy it again. It's the first hair removal product I've tried, and I would recommend getting something more expensive that is worth more. This product doesn't remove the hair from the root, it just breaks it and nothing else. It's enough that it breaks or cuts them, but it hurts. Of course, this is inevitable for all types of hair removal, so I can't complain about the pain. It does remove some hairs from the root and they have weakened, but my hair still grows back thin. But seriously, I want a smooth and soft result. If it was like that, I would continue using a razor. The first time I used it, it hurt a lot on my legs, the second time a little, and the third time nothing. The body gets used to it, but for me, get something more expensive that will do a better job for you

The hairs do not come out immediately.. they require several passes... And the pain is considerable!! Irritation is something that would happen with any machine and it doesn't last long.
