In terms of its price, it is a fair choice.
It was used as a network extension via ethernet, connecting it to the main router to send wireless and wired signals to additional devices.
It does what it is supposed to do easily, as soon as it is connected and basic settings are made.
If you use it as an extension of an existing network (ethernet + wifi) and want to access its interface (apart from the interface of the main router, obviously), then you will need to configure it as a router at the beginning, and then you will control both routers together. In the wan port (blue), you will connect the ethernet cable coming from the main router, and in the other ports, you will connect the other cables to which you want to extend the network. You can configure the extended wifi normally by giving it a new password, etc.

This is an absolutely stable device. I placed it after the Cosmote router as an Access Point and connected it to my desktop via Ethernet, but I also use it as a Wi-Fi router. It works flawlessly even at high download speeds without any blocking or other issues, and as a Wi-Fi device, it has a strong signal. The setup is very easy. You choose its usage, the level of security, pair it with your provider, and that's it. Edimax products offer great value for money and are reliable. I used to use other well-known brands in the past, but I got tired of their problems and got rid of them. With Edimax, whose first router I bought three years ago, I created a solid personal network that runs without any issues.
