In general, it confirms what happens in our lives in general, and mainly from the negative side of it... What the author presents is a punch in the stomach and is real food for thought... I found it extremely interesting and I will definitely read more of his works...

Description & Specifications

With his shocking book A World Upside Down, in the revised translation by Georgia Zakopoulou, the award-winning Uruguayan author and journalist Eduardo Galeano decides to send us back to school.

In a school that reveals with chilling details and biting humor the inverted reality of the modern world, where the left is on the right, the up is down, and the front is back.

Outraged by blatant social injustice, he denounces international organizations and large economic interests, condemns exploitation and injustice, raises a voice of protest, and calls each of us to vigilance and action, delivering a message of optimism and hope.
