Fantastic pedal, essentially a clone of the Boss FZ-2. Fuzz 1 is more mid-heavy, fuzz 2 is more scooped - Electric Wizard style.

If you set the slider somewhere in between, it captures both modes and produces a perfect sound.

The boost mode is nice and very useful because you also have the EQ controls on it. Perfect for doom/sludge etc

I don't think there is anything better at this price, it's perfect for doom, stoner, and extreme sound that requires fuzz. Although I believe it will do a great job in other genres as well. The boost option is a very good extra choice for someone who wants to use it as a simple tremble/bass booster.

I'm not giving it 5 stars because the only downside is that it's made of plastic and feels very "clunky" (although I expected it to be much worse).

Overall, I recommend it for anyone who wants to have a dirty fuzz sound with just 20 bucks.

The sound is 7/10 ...BUT I use it on bass, along with a pitchshifter, to achieve a guitar-like sound (look up Mike Kerr of Royal Blood to understand better) ...no matter how good the pitchshifter is, it won't sound as clean as a guitar...so I know it will sound much better on guitar (although I haven't tried it) ...it works really well with the Boss OD1 (distortion) that I have. Incredible value for money product and I would recommend it for both amateur home use and studio use...the plastic construction is okay, as long as you don't abuse it, it won't break...but even if it does, just get the same one again
