The Verb Syntax Dictionary of Ancient Greek is an editorial innovation because for the first time in our country a work is published with the unique and exclusive purpose of encoding the basic syntax of the most useful verbs of ancient Attic prose. Given that different verb syntax implies different meanings, the substantial contribution of this work to the study of ancient Attic speech is immediately apparent.
