The main verb dictionary of ancient Greek aims to be a user-friendly, useful, and necessary tool for studying ancient Attic speech. With the exemplary tables of the first part, which refer to all the selected verbs of the second part, the main dictionary covers a wide range of knowledge needs (initial times, etymology, derivatives, cognates). The selection of verbs was made based on criteria such as their frequency of use in ancient Attic prose, their particular formation and declension patterns, and finally, their polysemy.
