The Geko G01877 electronic welding helmet automatically darkens when the arc starts, using two photo sensors in the filter, and returns to a light state after welding. It protects the eyes and face from sparks, splashes, and ultraviolet and infrared radiation. It is suitable for MMA, MIG-MAG, and TIG welding, as well as low-current TIG welding at 20 A.
The helmet is made of durable polymer material and adjusts to the size of the wearer’s head. The shade level and photo sensor sensitivity are adjustable, while the welding mode is selected automatically. The filter is powered by a built-in battery and two external AAA batteries.
