Very beautiful watch. I have a very small wrist, but even though it is 42mm, which is a borderline size for my wrist, due to its design and the color on the bezel that "starts" further in from the edges, it gives the illusion that it is smaller than it actually is and it fits me just fine! Also, the color of the metal is not as matte as it appears in the photos, but has a slight sheen that makes its appearance even better.

A watch whose price does not match the quality in any way, with the scale tipping to the positive side, of course! The missing star is due, personally, to the major flaw of the watch, if we could call it that, the 'noisy' mechanism, which you can feel moving the rotor with every sudden movement of the wrist. Nevertheless, it could be in a collection of a watch only, suitable, literally, for every occasion! I've owned it for a year now.

Excellent traditional diving watch from Citizen, based on the classic NY0040 series. The beautiful combination of dial-bezel colors makes the watch highly readable, and its luminescence is very good. Finally, special mention should be made of the updated 8204 movement (mine, produced in 2021, uses the 8204 - although earlier models may use the 8203), which stops the second hand for precise time setting and also has a 42-hour power reserve compared to the previous 8203's 40 hours.

I have to say that photos do it a lot of injustice. Up close, it is even more high-quality. It is comfortable in the hand and it doesn't lack anything to tire you. The blue-red color is exceptional!!!!!

Automatic mechanism with very good accuracy (+ 10 seconds daily for mine), very good build quality and excellent luminosity. Its ISO-certified waterproofing (200m), combined with its unique design (no resemblance to submariner imitations), makes it an ideal watch both in and out of the water.
It is 42mm, but it looks considerably smaller on the wrist. It will definitely satisfy individuals with smaller wrists.
Its only drawback is the silicone strap, which is quite hard and may be uncomfortable during the first few wears. However, it appears to be very durable.
At the price of €160 that I got it for, it's a no-brainer.
If you have a little more to spend, go for the Orient Kamasu, which is a step up in terms of quality.

Whatever I say is not enough. The evolution of NY0040. Very beautiful in hand, relatively small at 42mm. I don't think I will buy a watch again!

Update: Almost two years later, with a strap for renewal, it remains amazing
