Fishing reel from Shimano, suitable for surf casting. It features 1 bearing which facilitates the movement of the main shaft and is ideal for small and medium-sized fish (under one kilogram). The reel's drum rotates with a gear ratio of 4.9:1, which means that for one complete turn of the handle, the spool will make 4.9 turns. The reel holds 240m of 0.35mm thick fishing line, and if a thicker line is used, the capacity in length is reduced. It is made of carbon fiber, a lightweight material with great strength and durability.

Features

With Super Stopper technology, if you place the mechanism switch in the anti-reverse position, you will notice zero handle movement. With the AR-C Spool system, the patented design of the spool lip in a V shape results in the line unraveling in smaller coils, achieving longer and more accurate casts. The special design of Shimano's Power Roller dramatically reduces line twist during use, a significant advantage for using fine line or braid.

    Good sturdy mechanism but when vertical fishing, when you release, the line gets stuck and you have to use your finger each time to unwind it, a malfunction you don't even find in cheap Chinese ones. And of course, both the seller and the representative found it normal. The choice is yours whether you should spend 70 to buy it.
