In the book "Java for Everyone," we followed an alternative teaching approach. We provide a series of workshops/examples along with their solutions and refer to the relevant foundational knowledge.

This approach seems to be effective as it addresses the greatest difficulty faced during training in object-oriented programming. Object-oriented programming requires a lot of foundational knowledge that not everyone has the patience to master before writing their first object-oriented program.

Beyond the workshops, the book covers the entire spectrum of required knowledge for Java and object-oriented programming. It includes: Java Virtual Machine, Types of applications, class structure, control structures, Streams, Exceptions, Graphical interfaces, Events and Event handlers, Applets, Layouts, Adapters, Multimedia, Data Structures, Component model.
