Instructions for easier use of the dictionary

1. The dictionary is written in modern Greek with a monotonic system.

2. The lemma is written in bold characters. The same applies to derivatives and expressions that are provided.

3. The lemma is replaced by the symbol (~) where examples or expressions are present, for the sake of space economy.

4. The pronunciation is enclosed in brackets and has been rendered with Latin characters, making the dictionary more user-friendly.

5. For each lemma, there is a brief grammatical characterization (e.g. noun).

6. Where necessary, explanatory terms have been used (e.g. medical).
