In the previous book on Java "Java for Everyone," we aimed to introduce object-oriented programming and Java to anyone interested. We developed topics such as: class structure, control structures, Streams, Exceptions, GUI, Events, Event Handlers, Layouts, Adapters, etc.

The previous book on Java was enhanced with a comprehensive Information System for Managing a Lending Library. Now, in this book, we have targeted a more specialized audience. The title of this book "Java for a Few" reflects this focus.

We aim to contribute to enabling those with the expertise corresponding to the previous book to become specialized developers, professionals in Java. To achieve this, we are developing a series of topics summarized in the following section titles of this book: Multithreading, Networking, Multimedia, Advanced Interfaces, Advanced Data Management, Development Models, Javadoc, Internationalization.
