The positives are that it connects to a Type-C port, so it has speed and saves one of the few USB ports. It connected and ran immediately. I connected a hard drive and it worked satisfactorily fast. I didn't see the read and write speed because the disk is already full and used for mixing and mastering. It opens programs quite quickly. The cable is satisfactorily long to have it a little closer to the laptop.

The negatives, and that's why I gave it 4 stars, is its plastic which looks cheap and lightweight, but you don't expect miracles for this price. Time will show its durability.
