At the heart of the ProDI lies a custom woud Radial transformer. It features an exceptionally high input impedance of 140kΩ to reduce loading while allowing handling of extreme signal levels across all frequencies without distortion. This is further enhanced by a MuMETAL® shielding for protection against electromagnetic fields that can cause distortion in unshielded transformers.

This compact construction is made from 14-gauge steel with an I-beam framework for added rigidity, as well as a unique design from Radial that creates a protective zone around the switches and sockets, which are made of Glass filled nylon. The high-cycle switches are combined with mil-spec PCB and internal RF filtering for durability and noise-free performance. An anti-slip pad on the bottom provides mechanical and electrical isolation, as well as protection from the rough handling typical in professional environments.
