I bought it about seven years ago for €35 on sale. I took it out recently because I envied the Cretan slow-cooked dishes of goat, lamb, and beef, and decided to get involved. It works perfectly, makes delicious food, and is incredibly simple to use and maintain. Don't hesitate to get it. The little money you spend on it won't go to waste, and it will make your life easier with beautifully thick, slow-cooked dishes of high flavor. It does its job as well as when the Cretans slow-cook all night in their pots with wood. You just need to get used to the philosophy of slow cooking, which is so simple that a little girl of 14-15 years can handle it and make truly delicious food like Beef Stroganoff in just 4 hours on the "High" setting. The only thing that could be considered a disadvantage for smaller hands (which isn't that tragic, of course!) is that the pot is ceramic and therefore quite heavy. The 3.5 liters of capacity is enough to feed 2 regular adults and 1 minor child. If you have a larger family, you definitely need to buy the model with about 6 liters, which costs almost the same price.
