The theory of music constitutes the first substantial knowledge one acquires from the inexhaustible art of music. It is crucial to create a foundation suitable to motivate and inspire young musicians towards the pursuit of knowledge and creation.

For this purpose, after fifteen years of teaching music theory, I feel the responsibility to generously share my knowledge and experience with those who wish to explore the world of music.

In this book, the student has the opportunity not only to learn the theory but also to engage with practice through the exercises included at the end of each chapter.

In addition to the established content of music theory, this series includes chapters presenting the musical instruments of the orchestra to encourage the young musician to make a meaningful decision about which instrument to pursue in their journey, as well as chapters on correct musical notation that serve as a launchpad for capturing their personal compositional creation.
