It was purchased to replace the same existing factory fan of the case. So basically it was bought for uniformity reasons. Fans from more reputable companies in the industry show much better quality. The factory one, although the same model, is with 3 Pin without PWM which is not available on the market. That one started making noise in the axle from the first days of operation. I hope this one will last longer.
The LEDs it has do not have the same shade as the LEDs of the motherboard and the CPU cooler fan, not even with the pre-installed strip of the case. The airflow is quite good. With two of these in the front and one in the back, the case does not raise temperatures even during gaming.
It is one of the cheap RGB 12mm PWM fans. I would normally buy a more expensive one but I wanted it to match the rest, nor did I want to spend at least 50 euros for a set
