Description

eSun PETG

PETG is a high-performance 3D printing material with resistance to water, chemicals, and high strength. It combines the advantages of PLA and ABS.

  • Stable Dimensional Tolerance: Minimal tolerance and low distortion for consistent feeding and stable prints, good layer adhesion, less stringing, no bubbles, no cracks, easy handling, with excellent surface quality.
  • No Jamming & No Clogging: 1KG spool with perfect roundness and very tight diameter tolerance, good winding, does not overlap or tangle. Melts well, feeds smoothly and continuously without clogging the nozzle or the extruder.
  • High Compatibility: PETG has the advantages of high strength and good mechanical properties (like ABS), but also features easy printing and minimal distortion (like PLA). It is widely used in toys, stationery, electronic accessories, cosmetic containers, and more.
  • Vacuum Packaging: Net weight of filament: 1KG. The eSUN filament comes in a sealed vacuum bag with a moisture-absorbing pouch, easily keeping your filaments in optimal storage conditions and free from dust or dirt before opening the sealed package.

  • I have tried PETG filaments from various companies and generally I haven't had problems except for this one. It has warping that I haven't seen with any other PETG filament. I am attaching a photo for comparison, the same object with another filament. Nozzle 0.6mm@240°C, layer 0.3mm, bed @80°C with hair spray

  • This review is about the colour: Black

I have been using it for years and it was okay. Now, however, the latest batches have a paper roll instead of plastic, for some reason they are so wet from the factory, where almost half of the roll is useless and the rest prints better, but still has a lot of stringing. These issues didn't exist in the past.

Overall, I am very satisfied with eSun filaments, including this one. They consistently exhibit the same quality and characteristics in every batch. Once you find the appropriate temperature settings, cooling, etc., everything is consistent. After my own observation, eSun PETG should not exceed 235°C as it becomes brittle afterwards. Additionally, I print with a brim and a bed temperature of 80°C.

This review is about the colour: Black

If you find the right setting, it produces pretty good results, but it gives me the impression that it absorbs moisture faster than other brands, so if you get it and don't work with it quickly, you may have issues with the prints
