See allUsers particularly appreciate the high-quality, durable construction and comfort, noting that the fins don’t tire or irritate their feet. They report good propulsion and efficiency for swimming and spearfishing, even during extended use. However, choosing the right size may require care, especially depending on foot width and whether socks are worn.
I have had them for 8 years.
They are very high quality. In the sea, you can move even if there are waves, they help a lot.
For swimming, so that my feet don't hurt, I swim on my back like side stroke and I do very well, even for long distances.
Well first time wearing them today and what can I say... first of all, they are incredibly comfortable, I followed the example of previous reviews regarding the size and got the 46-47 while I wear a 44 and a half.
Whether you wear socks or not, the sandals do not come off your feet unless you take them off yourself. They did not tire me at all during a three-hour fishing trip, with two or three kicks you find your rhythm and it really feels like running on water, unlike some Seac fins I had which are like night and day compared to Mares... I am very satisfied with the product !!!
I wear size 42.5 in Nike sports shoes, I got them in size 44-45 with socks, but even without wearing socks they don't come off my foot without me taking them off myself and I have no issues.
I bought them for shallow spearfishing (up to 12m), because the Mares Fluida fins I had didn't have enough propulsion. They are just what I needed, not too big and cumbersome, but with enough propulsion for such depths. And the size is correct, just like everything else, if you have a slim foot it's better to get a size smaller. With socks for comfort during long use, one size up, and the price is reasonable. I recommend them

I was given the '92 (yes, you read that right!) a pair of Plana Avanti HP fins, and I still have them. I use them quite often, over 50 times a year, and they work great for dives up to about 10 meters, especially compared to other simpler fins. They don't have any serious wear and tear, so I don't think about replacing them. I wash them once a year with fresh water and always use their protective covers when I'm not wearing them. I don't know if they are exactly the same model, but they look very similar.
