This new Tokina lens is the first in a new generation of full frame (FX) lenses designed for professional digital SLR cameras. The 16-28 mm zoom range gives the professional photographer a very wide viewing angle to get close to the subject for dramatic effect or to capture entire scenes.

    Wide-angle lenses with zoom capability and optics that allow for fitting many elements within the frame with relatively little distortion. Their focal length usually starts from 24-35mm for full frame, 15-25mm for crop frame, and 50-70mm for medium format. 2. They are usually used in street photography but also in indoor spaces where there is limited distance from the subject. The perspective of wide-angle lenses makes things appear farther apart than they actually are.

    The type of mount that the camera body must have in order for the lens to be fully functional when attached to it.

    2. Some lenses can be used with older mounts from the same manufacturer, sacrificing certain functions (e.g. autofocus), or even with mounts from other manufacturers using an adapter.
