The Pathos Ultimate Carbon Medium fins feature 285-T4 and 285-T2 carbon-fiber blades, with a 4×4 outer weave and a 2×2 inner weave. The internal fiber arrangement allows the blades to form a C-shaped curve under pressure and spring back immediately. The blade angle is 28°.

The side water rails guide the flow and limit lateral blade movement. The flap-shaped tip adds thrust at the end of the kicking motion. The blades undergo 36 hours of heat treatment and are hardened under 8 tons of pressure for 24 hours.
