We use it in school as a laptop carrying bag for a 15.6'' laptop. It is a very basic bag but also very economical. No, it is not recommended for frequent transportation but for occasional transportation and of course for storage.
It has a main compartment that opens all the way (with a zipper) and is spacious for only the laptop (it does not have any other sub-compartment). I do not prefer the "P-shaped" opening compared to the "folder" type that opens only from the top because it is easier to forget it open and have an accident. The front folder-type pocket is small and can fit the charger and mouse tightly. It is not thick and secures, not very well, with the use of scratches.
The cushioning is weak and I do not think it provides substantial protection from severe falls. You can put a divider that it comes with for the main compartment at the bottom so that it becomes double for extra protection.
The rings are metallic but overall the bag does not convince for its durability.
