This current edition of the translation of Shakespeare's "and something" brings to light and makes accessible a forgotten but very important text of Greek letters, which for many years survived only as a bibliographic entry or as a secondary reference in the writings of some scholars.

The 2000 edition brings back to life the entire work of Polyla without any intervention, framed by two additional critical texts: the extensive essay by Dimitris Polychronakis, a contemporary scholar of Polyla, and "Critical Observations on the Translation of Hamlet" by Georgios Kalosgouros.

With the addition of these two texts at the beginning and end of the book, respectively, the original is placed within an extremely interesting interpretative framework, where the linguistic, metrical, and theoretical choices of Polyla's translational achievement are commented upon from two different critical perspectives.
