I used to spend my money on expensive and specialized products and I saw results from an affordable product that you can even find at the supermarket. It saved me from dryness and deeply cleans the beard. Its scent is nice and discreet. Note, it doesn't particularly soften the beard but leaves a feeling of freshness.

Attention is needed regarding the ingredients as in this case it contains Sles, menthol, alcohol denat, perhaps a type of fragrance that are considered "strong" and may cause irritations.
I mention this because certainly one of these caused me redness ~ like an allergy ~ and from what I see in the reviews I wasn't the only one.
I rate it 2/5 and not lower because it has an interesting masculine scent and with a small amount it produces quite a lot of lather.

If it had more stars, I would give it more... the soap is amazing, it lathers a lot with just a pea-sized amount of soap, literally... it cleans perfectly and leaves a feeling of cleanliness and freshness with a rich scent... I saw some people had issues with the hardness, normally after washing it needs some oil for better use... but personally, it worked for me even without it because I have a short beard, so I didn't have any issues.

While it has a nice scent, unfortunately it makes my beard very rough and dry. I have tried several shampoos, but none of them have ever caused this feeling on my beard. I can't understand the positive reviews. I have quite a long beard, maybe the problem is not as noticeable on shorter beards.

I wash my face daily and this seems to last for several months! It requires a small amount the size of a bean because it foams a lot. My face feels refreshed after washing, I would recommend it! It has a nice and subtle scent. The positive thing is that it softens the beard/mustache. Finally, I found a cleanser that doesn't leave a feeling of dryness after washing. I would buy it again.
