This work consists of two parts: The first (theoretical), which provides a historical overview of the topic of training, a review of Greek-language pedagogical literature, and an presentation of some specific critical viewpoints on training. In this way, we believe we help to coherently unfold the activities and efforts of the respective educational authorities regarding training, that we inform the educational community as thoroughly, accurately, and responsibly as possible, and that we contribute to the advancement, increase, and improvement of their knowledge, as well as their professional conscientiousness.
The second part (empirical), where the topic of training among Primary Education teachers from Alexandroupoli and Thessaloniki is approached and examined empirically using a written questionnaire method.
