If the battery is not enough for you, then you are vacuuming large areas and you need to get a regular vacuum cleaner. Placing it on the charger requires two hands if the base is not fixed somewhere stable. I have it resting on the floor so I have to bend down and hold it steady to place the vacuum properly. Other than that, we have no complaints.
