Description

Description

The SDS plus-5X drill bit offers highly efficient drilling in reinforced concrete. The geometric head shape with 4 cutters protects against jamming and breakage for optimal results. 

The head design with inclined side cutters, combined with the wide and short dust removal channels in a quadruple helix shape, provides fast dust removal and high drilling speed in concrete and reinforcement, with reduced wear. 

For effective work and precision diameter holes, the centering tip guides the drilling from the start to avoid movements that can easily alter the hole diameter. The drill bit is intended for use in masonry, concrete, and reinforced concrete. It is compatible with rotary hammers with SDS plus holders.

    Four-flute drill bit, quite good.
    The photos also show the usable length.
    In general, I avoid drilling into rebar, and if I hit one, I move elsewhere, but it did hit some on the edge. For professional use, I believe it was worth the money. There are certainly better ones.

    I have the whole series and I am completely satisfied with their 4-cuts. Of course, I haven't encountered any serious thick reinforcement bars inside the concrete, only in several old houses (40 years plus) and they pierced through them.
