    The machine is a beast.... It has everything an office could need, we equipped it with 32Gb Ram, 4 WB Gold 10Tb disks + an Nvme for cache. It can fit one more m2. Synology has made the software very simple and easy, and you can easily set up with a few clicks, VPN SERVER, CHAT, MAIL SERVER, DOCKER, install wordpress, php, etc., surveillance cameras, media server, LDAP Server, Proxy, DNS Server, DHCP Server, and many more.

    For backup options, it has several choices, Snapshot function, Cloud Sync, Active Backup for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and many more.

    Additionally, you can run VM and run any operating system you want - we installed the office server, which is automatically backed up to the cloud. So far, it has never crashed or slowed down, used daily by 20+ users simultaneously, and the good thing is that you can set permissions for each user separately and define which folders they can access. The only issue I see is that it makes noise in general and when performing file transfer and backup tasks, the fan speed increases significantly and it gets noisy. However, you can easily replace the 2 fans it has (with 2 Noctua NF-A4x20 12V Case Fan 40mm) and the noise is greatly reduced, and the only thing you can hear is the power supply.
