In my opinion, the paper is as matte as needed, without "soaking" with ink and without creating small ink blobs. Some attention is needed when placing it in the printer tray, as the printable side of the sheet is not immediately distinguishable. I recommend it for use in cases where the "shine" of glossy papers reduces color accuracy in printing.
